Project Brief

This project was to design a residential apartment for a family in The Residences at Jumeira Lake Towers. In a group of two, we designed the master bedroom and the home spa connected to it. Our project was named “Exquisite” revealing the delicate choices that were made through the design process.
The design of the apartment was inspired by the delicacy of butterflies. Butterflies are very delicate and whimsical creatures with organic curves on their bodies, which the space planning was based on. Elegance and femininity, as well as coziness, are implemented in the design through the selection of colors and the non-sharp, curved edges. The warmth of the color scheme promotes well-being and comfort in a space.
